Story: Telehealth Helps a San Diego Veteran with PTSD

Combat veterans who suffer from PTSD may not seek help because of transportation issues or the stigma about mental illness. The San Diego VA's new program is helping services members access treatment in the convenience and privacy of their own homes. How this was done: KPBS videographer Nic McVicker filmed the interview and broll of Ruben, while I filmed the interviews and broll at the VA hospital. I also edited, wrote and voiced this piece.
