This is the story of Adam Gibson, who survived more than a year in Iraq, but committed suicide not long after he returned home. I produced this video while I was an intern for Face the Facts USA in the summer of 2012. (Additional videography by Nathan O'Neal) How this was done: I had previously interviewed Anette Puccia and produced an in-depth broadcast package on her son's story, but was asked to re-edit it into a natural-sound piece. I worked with my editor Susan Green, an instructor at the Walter Cronkite School at ASU, to produce this video for George Washington University's FaceTheFacts USA campaign. The interview with Anette was shot by Nathan O'Neal. He also contributed to some b-roll of Annette. I filmed the other two-camera interviews and b-roll. Jim Jacoby, also an instructor at the Walter Cronkite School at ASU, created the text graphics.
