Prisoners
Prisoners are a reason not to go to Transcend Church. Many people are going to find a church that serves them well. That keeps them isolated from the world around them, and that is a kind of an escape from life. www.transcendchurch.org/prisoners.php Transcend Church sees Jesus, the second person of the God head coming to earth to pick up a towel and wash feet. Transcend Church sees a Jesus who came for the sick and sinning world who so desperately needs His redemption. That said, many people are not going to want to go to Transcend Church, as the church doesn't seek to create a country club of good people. Rather the church seeks to further Jesus mission to go and get His lost sheep. This means going into prisons, with the gospel message. Holding life group, giving rides to people to participate in Bible studies while they're still incarcerated. Further, working to keep the relationship after their imprisonment and prayerfully seeing their lives impacted by the Gospel.
