Haylie is a sweet little Shih Tzu rescued by National Mill Dog Rescue from a puppy mill. She was blind, and her eyes were extremely swollen and dry with painful glaucoma. Once in our care, she underwent several medical procedures: a bilateral eye enucleation (eyes removed), an umbilical hernia repair, a dental, and spaying. Without the financial support of donors, we could not provide the necessary medical care for dogs like Haylie. This is her journey.
