Ziva is a 6 year old Keeshond who was rescued from a puppy mill in KS. Her mother chewed her rear feet off when she was a puppy. The breeder kept her as a breeding dog for the next 6 years without doing anything to correct this condition. Her name was chosen to represent her courage and strength as a survivor; her namesake is the character Ziva David from the tv show NCIS, played by Cote de Pablo.
