Nakai started Rauh-Welt Begriff (Rough World) as a Porsche tuning company in Chiba, Japan. Since then he has partnered with people around the globe to build his creation locally. The 964 Targa was built in Los Angeles, California. Nakai wanted to create a Targa version as he felt it was very fitting for the environment. He approaches each build as if they were his cars. As an avid Porsche racing driver and builder Nakai San is always living in the present and wants to continue to evolve his craft with each race and build.
