She also launched the nonprofit The Representation Project, which uses film and media content to influence social change. Her latest film, "The Mask You Live In," screened at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. Her film "The Invisible War," won best documentary at all of the following film festivals: Sundance Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, SDFCS, CFCA and the Independent Spirit Awards.
