Where was the true inspiration for Emily Brontë's book 'Wuthering Heights'? Join Ian Howard from local history tour group 'Wuthering Hikes', and Josh Chapman, the grandson of the late Joanna Hutton - the first female curator of the Brontë Parsonage Museum in 1962. They look at the research work done by many historians, along with the Freemason connections and strange druid-inspired symbols on the moorland around Haworth. The starting point for this research was interestingly enough Emily Brontë's book itself - which describes 'Wuthering Heights' in such a way, that the contemporary-accepted location of the Top Withins farmhouse ruins aren't the inspirational location...
