The 2013 Rural Futures Conference featured a panel of energetic young leaders who strive to make their rural communities vibrant places that they are proud to call home. Among other things, the panel discussed turning challenges into opportunities in order to address complex situations. Nicole Sedlacek of Holt County Economic Development moderated the panel consisting of: Meghan Bown, Get Fit Itasca/SHIP; Joe Johnson, City of Nebraska City; Katie Meiklejohn, Agrarian Freedom Project; and Scott Moore y Medina, Blue Star Studio Inc.
