We spent a day with Nid from Traveling Spoon, a company that connects travelers with locals to get a true experience. Nid picked us up early in the morning in Chiang Mai and we headed to a local Thai market. After picking up fresh ingredients including Banana Flower, Pork, Old Style Coffee, and many other native Thai plants, we then headed to Nid's Parents farm in Lamphun, Thailand. On the farm we picked herbs and chilies to use in our cooking. This was an awesome experience for anyone who wants to experience Thailand as a Thai does on a daily basis. We got to learn about fruits we've never seen before even after a year in Thailand.
