Introducing Limitless - Debut Video 2014

submitted by limitless on 01/04/15 1

This is a video of the one-of-a-kind, collaborative, dance troupe, Limitless, in their debut performance at the 2014 Los Angeles Bachata Festival. The group is made up of individuals of all backgrounds who come together to create something magical together! Limitless is a community organization with a mission to embrace individuals of all backgrounds and abilities; and enable opportunities to create beautiful things together. Founded by 2 occupational therapists, we began with a mission to promote the concept that anybody can dance, anywhere, anytime. The first ever “So You Think You Can’t Dance” class/program began as part of the Wellness Center at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in 2011 and provided opportunities to individuals of all abilities to dance together. After seeing countless participants light up on the dance floor, smiling and moving in ways that they never dreamed possible, this small vision to start a local hospital-based dance program became a dream to change the entire dance community and the world! Limitless strives to celebrate diversity through dance, promoting positive expression through art and music, and asking people to work together to create a peaceful, healthy world. Through creating and supporting dance and community programs, the goal of Limitless is to build a community that empowers and allows people of all ages, experiences, and abilities to come together and share/create incredible things together. At Limitless, we believe in a world that fosters individual empowerment and integration. We believe that working together will open your eyes to new possibilities, new solutions, and new opportunities to change the world.
