Verily So - Islands out in june 2014 [V4V-Records / W//M] "Islands" è il nuovo disco dei Verily So, in uscita il prossimo 3 giugno su V4V Records e W//M. Dalle sonorità più compatte e shoegaze, arriva al termine di un periodo che ha visto i singoli membri della band dedicarsi a progetti paralleli (Luca ha dato vita a Barrens, Simone a Small Giant e Marialaura ha scritto canzoni per un progetto di prossima pubblicazione) e l'ingresso nella formazione di Antonio Laudazi (Orhorho) alla batteria. Il concept, non cercato, è quello dell'incomunicabilità: da qui Islands, sinonimo lampante di lembi di terra alla deriva, ognuno per sè. "Islands" è il primo disco dei Verily So scritto ed arrangiato interamente dalla band al completo ed il suono è il frutto delle lunghe sessioni in sala prove: più distorto, wave, shoegaze, un panorama che sacrifica all'altare del feedback l'aspetto più folk del progetto.
