How I Spent My Summer Vacation

Reading an article recently, I discovered that boys learn to read later than girls. One of the fundamental reasons is simply because boys don't think it's cool to read. The study showed this is often because there aren't dads around to read to their kids. I decided to help fill that gap by reading books to children. I change the focus from the illustrations to the reader so that kids can see a male figure reading and enjoying reading. This book is entitled, "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" by Mark Teague.
