Angela King Twitero - Angela Twitero currently serves as President of Angela King Designs, Inc., a costume design and manufacturing corporation Angela founded over twenty years ago. Angela King Designs provides costumes for many of the NFL cheerleading teams, NBA dance teams, and sports’ cheerleaders world-wide. An icon in the sports industry, Angela worked in the NFL for thirteen years. She was a cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers during their championship years in the 1980’s, then moved into management for the 49ers. She also coordinated and produced the dance teams for the San Diego Chargers, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings. In 1992, Angela co-founded the NFL Pro Bowl Cheerleaders and co-directed the team for five years. In 1996, Angela made NFL history as the first cheerleader director to coordinate both NFL cheerleading teams for Super Bowl XXIX. As a professional dancer, Angela has performed with Paula Abdul, Teri Hatcher, The Pointer Sisters, The Beach Boys, Patrick Swazye in the film “RoadHouse”, filmed national and international commercials for McDonalds and toured the world with USO celebrity tours. She has appeared as a spokesperson on such TV shows as Entertainment Tonight, Extra, and nationally televised talk shows. Shannon Wetzel - San Francisco 49ers cheerleader from 1995-1999. Shannon was chosen as the 1999 Pro Bowl representative. She is now the head cheerleading coach at Clovis West High School in Fresno, CA. Shannon Wetzel Shannon has been studying dance since 1979, and has taught jazz, tap, pep/cheer, and tap/ballet at The Dance Studio since 1993. During 2003-05 she was our Elite Pep/Cheer Team Director. Teaching highlights include: Throughout 2003-04 she was the Pep/Cheer Program Director at Buchanan High School in Clovis; coached the 2003 and 2005 U.S.A. National All-Star Champions; served on staff and was a head instructor for USA Spirit Association for five years. Dance highlights include: Touring with the U.S.O. throughout Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, Tokyo (Japan) and Vancouver (Canada); she has performed at the Pensacola, Fl. Air Force Base for all stationed members and families; Captain and Dancer with the San Francisco 49'ers Cheerleaders. Also the 1999 San Francisco 49'er Cheerleader Pro-Bowl Representative. Also, Shannon has performed as a back-up dancer with Tony Bennett and was a featured performer at the San Francisco Black & White Ball. Shannon is a Graduate of California State University Fresno and has earned a Masters Degree in Cross Cultural Education and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies. She teaches sixth grade in Clovis Unified Schools.
