The Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet performs a new transcription of the Bubonic Bassoon Quartet's Famous Bassoon Quartets Through the Ages. Added arrangements and text were done by Kara LaMoure and Eryn Bauer. Narrating is the venerable John Hunt, our professor. Sorry guys, you'll have to turn the volume way up for this one! In case you don't catch it, the selections are: Caveman Music, the first bassoon quartet The Didgerissoon, the first bassoon Gregorian Chant Handel- Reed Water Music Haydn- Surprise Bassoon Quartet Mozart- The Magic Bassoon Rossini- The Bassoonist of Seville Beethoven- Moonlight Bassoonata Mendelssohn- Song Without Bassoons Debussy- Clair Bassoon Stravinsky- The Rite of Spring Six Carminitives, a contemporary work We are based at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Members are Lauren Yu, Kara LaMoure, Eryn Bauer, and Brittany Harrington.
