The plugins & themes that are downloaded from WordPress directory can be updated directly from the dashboard (List of Installed plugins). But in case of products downloaded from Envato Market, updating plugin is a pain as you have to replace the old files on your server with the new ones. And you don't even get a notification if the new version is available.
