11 Lives Saved! Some were scruffy, others skinny, and several had suffered from severe injury and illnesses, but eleven dogs are no longer in danger of euthanasia, starvation or a life of fear on the streets of Juarez, Mexico. This life-saving journey was made possible by you, our supporters (link to cwob.org/dog12.html) Ray, Salvador and Berto are three of the dogs who traveled in the Compassion Without Borders rescue van over 1200 miles over 24 hours to arrive in Northern California this past weekend. Greeting them were several volunteers who gently enfolded them with loving reassuring hugs and promises of new, forever homes. KTVU Channel 2 news sent a camera crew and a reporter to greet the dogs and report on their story. You can see the video here that was aired this past Saturday night. While all eleven dogs are now safe and sound, many more are in need of our help. Through your support, CWOB will be able to continue providing medical care for more dogs south of the border who we are already working to rehabilitate for a rescue in late April.
