Stanford Thompson is a musician and educator who is passionate about using music for social action and serves as the Founder and Artistic Director for the El Sistema-inspired program, Play On, Philly! and the Chairman of El Sistema USA. Last month, Stanford observed Portland's program Bravo and shared his tireless dedication and insight with us all...as well as a few of his mad trumpet skills.
