Produced as a University of Oregon Journalism assignment, this autobiographical video was intended to be an internal reflection upon myself. When thinking about all of the things that I do on a daily basis, there is not one that I prefer over another. I love my life, I love the world, and I love exploring. In order to capture all of the different facets of my life I decided to tell my story as one of desire. Desire to see more, experience more and remember all of it. The narrative can be read below: These are my eyes; quite obviously they're how I see the world. I'm constantly in awe of the world and the way that it functions. I love exploring and trying new things; I use my eyes to see is much of the world as I can. Sometimes, I wish my eyes had a way to capture every beautiful moment. But these eyes can't. My brain tries hoard every moment and save it for as long as it can, but it seems that I can't remember everything forever. So I do what I can. I Film. I capture every major moment so that I can save my stories for a later date. I considered producing this short story, a reflection on myself, by starting off with a humorous cliché, "Hi My name is Ryan Levenson and I am a man of many hats." Then I would have the camera pan over all the hats I have; quickly I would prompt the cameraman, "No, no, no come back here." "What I meant to say is, this here is my wheel of life come here check it out, it's a little different than everyone else's. "Then as I began to spin the wheel I was going to show short clips and pair it with audio of me saying things like, "Sometimes, I just need to get out of the house. I like to play in the mud, and I take way too many risks. I a serious case of restless leg syndrome, and yet at the age of twenty I still don't drink coffee. I enjoy just rolling around aimlessly and still tell my mom and dad I love them." I was going to say that sort of thing. The goal of these clips would be a show each and every way that I am a fun, youthful, and creative guy. I wanted to show you that I was different, maybe someone you would want to talk to or even hire. But all that would take up too much time and seemed just too difficult for a video that would end up being just two minutes and 30 seconds. So I decided to just leave it here, a video of me and my curious eyes, just trying to see the world.
