Harrison Ford Interview, 42 - Harrison Ford couldn't turn down the opportunity to star in 42, which tells the story of Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman) and Branch Rickey (Ford), the Brooklyn Dodgers executive who signed Robinson to be the first African American player in Major League Baseball history. Tribute.ca spoke with Harrison in Los Angeles about the physical transformation he underwent to become Branch Ricky, how he connected with the story on a personal level, racial injustice and some of his upcoming projects including Anchorman 2, Ender's Game and perhaps playing Hans Solo one more time in the upcoming Star Wars movie. 42 movie synopsis: The story of Jackie Robinson (Chadwick Boseman), the legendary baseball player who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier when he joined the roster of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
