Actress Freida Pinto and Plan-supported youth delegates lit up the Empire State Building in New York bright pink to highlight the fight for girls' education on the International Day of the Girl, 11 October. The Plan-supported event was the first of many taking place across the world which saw famous landmarks turn pink to promote girls' rights.
