Sol y Canto's Composer/Chef Brian Amador gave a "Healthy Latin Cooking Class" sponsored by Landmark on Main Street Theater in Port Washington, NY. He cooked his own versions of "Chilaquiles de Pollo (chicken)' and taught attendees how to best chop a mango. These are some of the hilghlights of the class, which is taught as a supplementary activity when his Latin band, Sol y Canto performs "Sabor y Memoria: A Musical Feast in Seven Courses," a 7-piece musical suite about healthy food, cooking, slow food and much more.
