Ronne Froman Offers Advice on Positivity and Confidence in the Workplace

submitted by mdwilson1 on 09/28/14 1

Cofounder and CEO of National Veterans Transition Services Inc., Ronne Froman talks about positivity in the workplace and “not letting others see you sweat” while speaking at "In the Executive's Chair" -- an open course at CSUSM that invites the community and business students to hear valuable advice from business leaders. Froman’s transition from military to civilian life was relatively easy. The first woman to command the six-state southwest region of the U.S. Navy, she retired as a rear admiral in 2001 after a 31-year naval career. Then she quickly took on a series of executive positions with the city of San Diego, Calif., the San Diego public schools, the Red Cross and in 2010 founded the National Veterans Transitions Services Inc., along with its signature program, the REBOOT Workshop. "In the Executive's Chair" is a series hosted by the College of Business Administration at CSUSM, featuring weekly talks by top executives and CEO's. The series is free and open to the public.
