Here's the Problem With the Ice Bucket Challenge - ALS, Lyme and Vaccines

Aside from the fact that I hate getting wet and especially with cold water (yeek!), where is the money really going? It does seem that a fair part of it goes to research, but what kind of research? Are they really looking for a cure or are they just fattening up Big Pharma and keeping patients in a state of disease maintenance? I think we can do better! Also, the founder of the challenge died by drowning at the age of 27 soon after his campaign went viral.
