I am Elad Tzur and I plan and guide tours in Israel. In this video series I will tell you about places you can go to and activities you can enjoy in your trip to Israel. (I don't get paid by these places; the goal is not to sell, but to give you information about these places so that you can decide if you want to go there or not) In This video I will tell you about the Kaliber 3 Shooting-range in Efrat, Gush Etzion, out side Jerusalem. This is a place where Israeli security forces train in counter terrorism training. They train in shooting, and in Krav Magga, the Israeli martial art. You can also come here as a tourist, and go through a training session with the same instructors that train professional security forces. All ages can participate. They even manage to make this an educational and meaningful experience. (Can shooting be educational? Sure can, ask people that were there) It is even more meaningful and powerful if you do a whole day in this area, hear the stories and the history, and experience the shooting rang in its context and environment. Tip: when you plan your trip, go to the shooting range after visiting Yad va'Shem, the holocaust museum. It really empowers the experience.
