Carrying a Flying Scotsman headboard (N2s were station pilots at King's Cross), 1744 enters and departs Berwyn station on the penultimate, and last dry, day of the Gala. The gala did not break even until Friday, so all contributions to the Betton Grange fund are most welcome.
