During our Colorado road trip, we had the opportunity ride on the historic Narrow Gauge Railroad from Durango to the old mining town of Silverton. The journey is one of the most scenic rides in the United States and we were so glad we were able to experience it. The steam train twists and turns its way through the San Juan Mountains along the icy Animas River providing jaw-dropping vistas at every turn.
