I walk you though the process of disconnecting the old pool motor wires and connecting the new pump wires. The existing pump here is warped due to overheating a three years ago when the old motor burned out. It was going on it's third diffuser so it was time to swap it out. If you are hooking up a 115 V motor you will also have three wires. One will be the black load or "hot" wire, one white Neutral wire and one green ground wire. When you open the back of your motor up you will see these three wires labeled clearly for you.
