An Iberian village, a farming settlement, some military facilities, a shanty town, a communications antenna, an abandoned space, a 360º viewpoint of Barcelona, and finally, an open air museum. In 2013, the Rovira Hill is the sum of all these things. The invisible intervention, the rehabilitation of the space started in 2009, maximizes the scars left by everything that has already existed.
With the support of Diputació de Barcelona, Museu d'Història de Barcelona (MUHBA), Centre de Cultura Contemporànea de Barcelona (CCCB), Publicspace, and the architecture studios Jansana, de la Villa, de Paauw Arquitectes and AAUP.
Will premiere in January 2014.
