The last documentary film by ZimmerFrei on Budapest: Temporary Eighth has been shot in the Eight District of Pest and focus on two themes. One of the main lines of the film is temporarity, "impermanence": how can we catch the "temporary" and parallel present times, the temporary state of matter, temporary phases of urban areas? How do we use common spaces within the city? What about empty and undefined places? The other focus of the film will be the signs -- those which are already present in the city and those which we leave after us. What traces remain of our lives? Are buildings the traces of our living or do we trace signs on and in the buildings? How can we mark the space and the territory we live in? How can we affect time?
