KIPP LA hosted author and journalist Malcolm Gladwell for an evening of conversation about KIPP LA's role in the education reform movement. Combining his trademark wit and substantial expertise, Gladwell encouraged the audience to think more deeply about the sources of inequality in public education. "Innovators" from KIPP Iluminar Academy opened the night with a college cheer and KIPP LA alumnus Darren White shared his personal experiences as a KIPP student and now a sophomore at University of California, Irvine.
