Scalloping along the Nature Coast of Florida is a big time event. Scallop season runs from July 1-September 10, usually. Dates can vary depending on the season. Catching scallops is a blast for families and of course you get a delicious meal out of it assuming you limit out. For us, it usually takes longer to clean the scallops than it does to catch them.
