The Emmy Nominated Tunnel to Towers aired on WCBS-TV and was produced in conjunction with the Stephen Siller "Let Us Do Good" Children's Foundation, the NYC Department of Transportation, FDNY, NYPD, and MTA. On September 11, 2001 Siller was off-duty but raced through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel with 80 pounds of his turnout gear strapped to his back to get to the World Trade Center site and help his fellow firefighters. Tunnel to Towers retraced the footsteps of this hero first responder who died on 9/11. The show honored Siller’s memory and the memory of all his fallen comrades. He perished that day along with 342 other members of the FDNY.
The Tunnel to Towers show was a live two-hour event covering the 2008 Tunnel to Towers run, which is an extraordinary annual event in New York City. The show was hosted by Maurice DuBois and Kate Sullivan at the starting line with hosts Chris Wragge and Kristine Johnson at the finish line. The show featured live interviews with John Turturro, Danny Aiello, London fire fighters, members of the United States Army and a performance by artist Michael Israel and the “Singing Policeman”, Danny Rodriguez, who caped the broadcast with a stirring rendition of God Bless America.

The charity event has raised over $4,000,000 since its inception and the money was donated to burn centers in New York and to aid orphans of the FDNY, NYPD and Military lost in the 9/11 attacks.
