ONLY ON FOX, for the first time, gospel artist Cece Winans talks about the death of her close friend Whitney Houston. Winans, a Nashville resident, was a guest on FOX17's TENNESSEE MORNINGS. She stopped by to talk about her annual youth conference "Always Sisters, Forever Brothers". Cece performed a duet with Whitney Houston that was featured on the movie soundtrack for "Waiting to Exhale". She says the loss of her friend is still difficult."I have my moments because it's still hard to believe she's gone," says Winans. "It was a shocker, pretty sad, but life goes on and every day God gives you the strength. I just always tell people to keep praying for Bobbi Kristina, her daughter, and Sissy, her mom, and all of her brothers and sisters. She had a lot of great family and it's a hurtful thing. I'm good, I'm good, we were very close friends and every day you just have to deal with it."The "Always Sisters, Forever Brothers" conference is FREE for those 13-26. It takes place the weekend of July 19 at the Curb Event Center. For details, click on FOX LINKS at Fox17.com.
