Dont be lured into the trap of revering created things over the Creator of everything. Suppose a carpenter makes you a nice chair and gives you this gift. You wouldn't ignore the carpenter and take the chair! Sitting in the chair admiring how comfortable the chair makes you feel whilst systematically ignoring the one who loved you enough to give you the free gift. Whatever you revere is what you worship in this reality. Seek the giver, revere the Father for how awesome He is. Not a finite reality that will one day perish. Not the kingdom that is built on the sands of time. But the Rock of Jesus Christ who surpasses THIS dimension. Christ came not to condemn you but to offer you freedom. Read the parable of the Prodigal son. This is how the Father reacts to you genuinely seeking Him over what this world has to offer. He runs to you with open arms saying 'What happened previously is forgotten.' He throws a celebration when every lost soul is returned Home.
