www.silberstudios.tv Based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, commercial photographer Jack Hutcheson has taken numerous photographs of landscapes, architecture, and people, including a number of campaigns for famous clients like Apple, Time Magazine and Adobe. Today, he joins us in this video with Mar Silber to talk about shooting and lighting tips for aspiring photographers. Jack strongly advises people to loosen up when they're shooting photographs--experimenting with techniques and keeping an open mind will allow them to shoot better photos. The same method can be applied to lighting--intesad of worrying about the exact technical aspects, experiment with different light sources to find one that fits the scene. For example, Jack once used the headlights of his car as a light source, which was perfect for his photo shoot. He also touches upon the specifics of f-stop speeds and aperture sizes that are a good starting point for sharp images.
