Millions of Americans suffer from chronic pain and the demand has created a booming industry of legitimate pain management clinics across the country. But laws in some states allow prescription drugs -- potentially dangerous but legal narcotics -- to be prescribed in clinics without a doctor on site. And lack of a prescription drug monitoring program for all narcotic categories has led to drug distribution in parts of the state on a scale never before seen by police.This episode first aired October 27, 2009.
