Cambodian Orphans 'Strive' in Performing Arts Documentary (English)

"Still I Strive" is a documentary about children at a unique orphanage in Phnom Penh who possess strong artistic skills and aspire to perform for the royal family. Director Adam Pfleghaar is in Washington, DC for the screening of the documentary which premiered at the Busan Film Festival in 2012. He tells VOA Khmer's Soeung Sophat during an interview at VOA that despite their tragic past, the orphans are able to use the performing arts to instill hope and motivation in their lives.
