Ripon student receives Cal State Stanislaus scholarship

Ripon Christian High School student Courtney Jespersen was slated to receive a scholarship to attend California State University, Stanislaus from the CSU Stanislaus Foundation, which also is paying $93,000 to bring former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to the campus in 2010. However, the foundation eventually eliminated its President's and Provost's scholarships program.On June 2, university faculty and staff announced they would give Jespersen a $5,000 scholarship.
