New York demands disclosure of Airbnb users

Savvy travelers looking for a good deal on places to stay sometimes swap homes or rent out an apartment for a few nights. Now New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has subpoenaed Airbnb, a popular website for setting up the housing exchanges, for all data from the 225,000 New York City residents who use the service as part of an investigation into illegal rentals. According to a 2010 New York law, it is illegal to rent out a residential apartment for less than 30 days. RT's Meghan Lopez has the reaction from Airbnb.
