Speaking at a news conference after arriving in Tel Aviv, Ban Ki Moon described Hamas rocket fire on Israel as QUOTE shocking saying it must stop immediately. He says he has seen photographic evidence of Palestinian rocket fire on Israel and that all countries have an international obligation to protect their citizens. He has also called on both sides to stop fighting and start negotioating. Speaking alongside Ban Ki-moon, was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who said the international community must hold Hamas accountable for rejecting multiple cease-fire offers and continuing its attacks against Israeli civilians. He claimed that Tel Aviv does not want civilian casualties.
