The bloodshed continues in the besieged Gaza Strip for the16th straight day as there's no let-up to the Israeli onslaught on the tiny enclave. Nearly a dozen people have lost their lives in the early hours of Wednesday in Gaza. So far, 642 Palestinians have died and more than four thousand others injured since Tel Aviv unleashed its offensive on July eight. Tanks and artillery continue shelling northern and eastern Gaza, while warplanes keep pounding other positions in the densely-populated region. On Tuesday, Israeli forces bombed a U-N-run school sheltering displaced Palestinians in central Gaza. Israeli aircraft also hit over 70 targets in the Gaza Strip, including five mosques and a sports stadium.
