At least 30 Israeli soldiers have disobeyed orders to deploy to the Gaza Strip where Tel Aviv is involved in a bloody offensive. The mutiny comes as Israel's death toll is mounting amid fears that a quagmire is at hand. The Israeli military says it lost three more soldiers on Tuesday evening, raising the death toll since the start of the ground invasion to thirty. Hamas says it has killed more than 50 soldiers in the fighting. Tel Aviv's risky step was also dealt a serious setback after many European and US airlines suspended flights to Israel. Israeli authorities further admitted that a soldier is missing and presumed dead. Meanwhile, Israeli media said 20 Palestinians were arrested overnight in east Jerusalem al-Quds. Since the alleged murder of three Israeli settlers, Tel Aviv has arrested nearly three-hundred Palestinians in the occupied territories.
