Palestinian fatalities are on the rise as there's no end in sight to Israel's relentless aerial and ground assaults on the besieged Gaza Strip. Fresh Israeli attacks on Wednesday have left twenty Palestinians dead and at least 150 wounded. Nearly a dozen of them were killed in tank shelling in Khan Yunis. A number of children are among the latest fatalities. Meanwhile, Israeli jets pounded multiple sites across the impoverished area, including a mosque and the enclave's sole power plant on Wednesday. At least one person was killed and dozens more injured near the targeted mosque. A total of 651 Palestinians have died and more than four thousand others injured since Tel Aviv unleashed its offensive on July eight. Over 160 children were among the dead.
