Palestinian medics have told press TV correspondent that the Palestinian death toll is at 750. A Palestinian rights group estimates that civilians account for eighty-one percent of the figure. Over 4600 people have also been injured, and over a hundred-thousand others displaced. In the latest series of Israeli strikes, nine Palestinians were killed in and around the southern town of Khan Yunis. A child was also killed in the northern town of Beit Hanoun in Israeli tank shelling. Earlier, six kids and ten members of one family were killed in Tel Aviv’s overnight assaults in the Gaza Strip. According to the UN, one child has been killed in Gaza every hour for the past few days.
