The Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip enters its nineteenth day. So far, at least 866 Palestinians have been killed and about 57-hundred injured in Israel's aerial and ground assaults on the besieged enclave. Palestinian sources say 67 Palestinians were killed in Israeli bombardments on Friday alone. The fatalities included two women, one of whom was pregnant. Nearly a dozen people, including women and children, have been killed in Israeli attacks on Rafah, Khan Yunis, and Deir al-Balah. One person was reportedly killed when Israeli forces shelled an ambulance transporting injured people in Khan Yunis. And at least four people were injured when Israeli forces shelled a UN vehicle. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes have targeted a hospital in the town of Beit Hanoun. The UN says over 80 percent of the Palestinian fatalities have been civilians, including early 200 children. A humanitarian crisis is looming, as Gaza’s hospitals are running low on basic medical supplies.
