«These are the opening 32 bars of a strings quartet piece I currently work on. "Brushwoods" is my first music composition project on 2014, and so is the accompanying video art. Part of the incentive to kick off the new project was to take my music generation software, MAIDENS for a test drive in the "real world". That is to say that a significant part of the music you will hear (I'd say 45%) was generated based on algorithms, rather than composed.
