This documentary film offers a macro view of a contemporary local butcher shop owned and run by three generations of a family in Lewes, Sussex. Peter Richards and his young apprentice Danny offer an honest and intimate account of their professional lives. Existing in a time of culinary revolution in the United Kingdom the film offers a social snapshot exploring the day to day running of the shop, customers perceptions and preferences and what the future may hold for the local butcher.
