Seventeen days on and Israel is still pressing ahead with its deadly aerial and ground offensives in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian medics have told a press TV correspondent that Gaza's death toll is now at least 750. A Palestinian rights group estimates that civilians make up 81 percent of the toll. Over 4600 people have also been injured, and over a hundred-thousand others displaced. In the latest series of Israeli strikes, more than 10 people were killed in the bombing of a school belonging to the UN relief agency for Palestinians in Beit Hanoun. A child was also killed in the Israeli tank shelling there. Earlier, six kids and ten members of one family were killed in Tel Aviv’s overnight assaults in the Gaza Strip. According to the UN, one child has been killed in Gaza every hour over the past few days.
