Problem Solving for Preschoolers (For School) | Social-Emotional Learning (Spanish) - A LITTLE SEL

submitted by Smith5705 on 11/07/25 1

This is one of a six-part series of weekly lessons teaching problem solving skills to preschool age children. Each week children are presented with two different options for solving a problem with peers from the Solve It Set of visual cards. If you like this set of lessons in English and Spanish, you can visit our site: www.alittlesel.com to view all of our resources with a free month trial. Families and teachers are first presented with a short video for adults, giving them some strategies to help reinforce the skill. The next two videos are for adults to watch WITH their children. The Puppet Kids learn how to apply the skill in a classroom setting and the Puppet Pals learn how to apply it at home, followed by discussion prompts or an activity for your children to adapt the skill to their own lives. The weekly lesson also includes some sort of visual in PDF form like this Solve It Set of cards. There will be 35 weekly lessons by June of 2024 built around Early Learning Guidelines on social emotional learning. We invite you to join A Little SEL family!
